IPN numbers help nodes communicate within the Delay-Tolerant Network (DTN). Here at openipn.org, we offer individuals and smaller organizations the chance to obtain up to 10 free IPN numbers from a block assigned to LateLab AB, valid for a year. These can be renewed on a yearly basis an unlimited number of times afterward.

Our goal is to build a community where we can connect terrestrial DTN networks more effectively. By joining, you're linking up with others keen on pooling resources, sharing insights, and advancing practical interplanetary communication.

Terms and Conditions for IPN Number Assignment

1. Acceptance of Terms: By registering on this webpage and receiving a free IPN number, you agree to abide by the following terms and conditions. Please read them carefully.
2. Eligibility: You must be at least 18 years of age to register for an IPN number.
3. IPN Number Validity: The IPN number assigned to you is valid for a period of one year from the date of assignment. After this period, you may renew it for an additional year.
4. Usage Restrictions:
a) The IPN number assigned is for personal or organizational use only and may not be sold, transferred, or sublicensed to another party.
b) Any malicious or illegal activities conducted using the assigned IPN number are strictly prohibited. The user assumes full responsibility for all actions taken using their IPN number.
5. Termination: We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your IPN number without prior notice if:
a) You breach any of the terms and conditions mentioned herein.
b) We believe that your actions may cause harm, loss, or legal liabilities to us, our users, or third parties.
6. Disclaimer: The IPN numbers are provided "as is", without any warranty of any kind. We do not guarantee continuous, uninterrupted, or secure access to our service.
7. Limitation of Liability: To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses resulting from:
a) Your use or inability to use the service;
b) Any unauthorized access to or use of our servers.
8. Indemnification: You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold us harmless from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including legal fees, arising out of or in any way connected with your misuse of the IPN number or violation of these terms.
9. Renewal: It is the responsibility of the user to renew their IPN number after the expiration of its validity. We will not be held responsible for any issues arising due to the non-renewal of the IPN number.
10. Changes to Terms: We reserve the right to modify these terms and conditions at any time. It is the responsibility of the user to regularly review these terms to stay informed of any changes.
